Meet Mark McGlinchey!
He works in our Keighley centre in West Yorkshire. He's really a friendly bloke, who'll do anything for you. He loves his job and he's ever so slightly odd! So he's a pretty good example of anyone you're likely to meet in A4e Pathways.
Hi folks. My name's Mark, Local Service Manager at Pathways greatest office in sunny Keighley. I've been married for exactly 4 years, have 2 cats, 8 goldfish and about 15 frogs. I am passionate about most music especially new country, photography, food, travel, books, writing and gardening.
In March I was given an allotment, for a first attempt I have been quite lucky, having already grown potatoes, cabbage, peas, garlic, leeks, broccoli, tomatoes, courgettes and lots of fruit. In fact, I am still bringing home produce - it saves you a fortune!!!
I have been working for A4e Pathways for 11 months and still cannot believe how much we help people. It's one of the reasons I made the decision that A4e Pathways was for me and I still wonder how come I have one of the best jobs in the world! Especially after almost been written off after a spine injury in which I came so close to being paralysed.
There are many wonderful things about my job, The look on someone's face when they get a job or when they realise that people really want to help. There are customers that really move you with their determination and passion. The amazing team that make it all happen and also... I can be me!
