A4e WELCOMES 1000th PERSON BACK TO WORK

Leading Welsh recruitment and training provider, A4e Wales, has successful placed 1000 people back in work following often long periods out of work due to illness.

Jackie Morgan is A4e Wales' 1000th person that has found work as a result of the A4e Pathways to Work programme, which was set up with the aim to get more people off incapacity benefit and into work through offering help, advice, training and support to help them into employment.

Mayor of Pontypool visits A4e Pathways

Pontypool Mayor, Bill King called into the A4e Wales office on Clarence street to get a feel for how the A4e Pathways to Work team is helping people get their lives back on track. The eight strong team of A4e Pathways advisors in Pontypool have placed more than 100 customers into work since the doors fully opened in June this year. Speaking about how successful the programme is in Pontypool he said: "I am so pleased to have been able to see firsthand how A4e is helping the people of Torfaen back into work and off benefits."

A4e aims to get more people in Rhyl into work

Rhyl residents met with a government Minister on 1st October to explain how they have got their lives back on track after often long periods out of work because of illness. Minister for Work, Stephen Timms visited A4e Wales' Pathways to Work office in Rhyl with local MP Chris Ruane to see how the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) programme is benefiting local people.

A4e Pathways created to put Brighton back into work
